Medena Medena is our newest family member. She was adopted in October of 2001 at Salem Adoption Center. All the kittens and cats were cute and adorable, but when we saw Medena with her brother we knew she was the One. Medena was only six weeks old and without a mother. She only had her brother and as we later found out, she had fleas. The first night of her adoption, she explored the whole house and played with my mom's curtain (my mom was definitely not happy!). She made us all be sleepless the whole night. The next day we visited "The Vet", and Medena got her first look at thermometers and other scary objects. She took her first wash with tree people holding her and got rid of fleas. Now she loves taking baths and playing with stuffed animals. Her favorite sleeping place is my mom's flowers and my bed. She is one happy kitty, exploring around, playing with her toys and curtains, and most of all watching TV and computers. Medena is one high-tech cat! My dad jokes around by calling her Anja Kerenjina and Victoria Secret. Anyways Medena, aka Anja Kerenjina or Victoria Secret is always going to be part of our family. When she came, she brought us something that our days even more interesting and fun. |
